As with all things originally firefly-themed, this was stolen from Dees, and then GP's old OOC lounge. And since I can think of no other place to post it, here we go.

Big damn questions? Big damn questions.

To put it shortly, big damn questions is what would happen if anybody in any verse would get interviewed by somebody who would not run for the hills screaming. Or shoot them.

Imagine a shrink, if you will, or a reporter, or just a very curious person. Anyway, these are the questions they might ask. Add any of your own if you want, hell, just prod me and I'll add them here. Use the questions in any way you like; just to get a personal insight by a character, for some bits of back story, or hell, even for silly floofy things. Anything goes, as long as we have fun.
I got these questions from a friend's comm (and my brain), but like I said, just add in any of your own if you want to.


• Do you imagine yourself ever being able to retire? Describe what your ideal retirement would look like.
• What is the thing you most regret NOT saying?
• Have you ever been surprised (either positively or negatively) by your limits?
• Have you ever had a teacher who changed your life? When and how?
• If you are currently in a romantic relationship, what 3 things do you like best about your partner? If you are not currently in a romantic relationship, what 3 things would you seek in a potential mate?
• Do you believe in ghosts or the supernatural in general? Why or why not?
• Do you have anything that could be considered a "guilty pleasure"? If so, what?
• Tell us about where you grew up. What was it like? Would you ever want to go back there?
• What non-living thing are you most attached to, and why?
• Describe your mother. What was she like and how did she shape you?
• Describe your father. What was he like and how did he shape you?
• Describe your greatest childhood fears or nightmares.
• If you are married, describe how you met your significant other\partner.
• Have you ever met any supernatural races? If so, which and what did you think about them?
• What is your greatest fear? And why?
• Describe the best memory you have of where you currently live, why is it the best? Describe the worst, why is it the worst?
• If you could spend a day as anything, what would you choose and why?
• If you could meet anyone, who would you choose to meet and why?
• Do you have anything which you would not change even if threatened with actual death should you not change it?
• If you could change any event in your life/your past, which event would you choose if any? Why? If nothing, then why not?
• Name a person who has changed your life in large way somehow, when did you meet them and how did they change your life?

Since this isn't exactly a community, lol, here's the deal. You can either post the ficlet here, or ninja it at me, or post it in your journal. The rules are this; Note the question, the characters, and whatever random verse you're pulling the character from. Doesn't even have to be one I've ever even heard of; I'll read just about anything. Just remember--I'm keeping this post public, so keep the not-worksafe on your own journal, pls. XD

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards! FUCKTHAT

Name a character from one of my fandoms and I'll give you (a) three facts about them from my personal canon/fanon, (b) a reason he/she sucks, (c) a reason he/she is awesomecakes, (d) five things that never happened to that character or (e) five people that character never fell in love with and why.
